Mustang Mach-E Leads Sales Growth of Ford’s New Lineup
Dubai, UAE, November 9, 2024: Ford‘s latest lineup has achieved record-breaking sales across the Middle East, driven by strong performances in key markets and the launch of models designed to meet the rising demand for electric vehicles. Ford’s 2024 lineup, its most extensive to date, combines variety and advanced technology to cater to diverse lifestyles.
Record Sales Growth and Regional Expansion
Ravi Ravichandran, Head of Ford Middle East, stated, “The year 2024 has been remarkable for Ford in the region, with our sales doubling since 2022. This success reflects the significant growth in market share achieved by our dealers in key markets such as the UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.”
Today, Ford stands as the fastest-growing automotive brand in Saudi Arabia. Al Jazirah Vehicles and Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors, two major dealerships in the Kingdom, accounted for 57% of Ford’s overall business in the Middle East during the first half of the year. “Our dealers’ strong performance has driven Ford to achieve record sales in this important market,” added Ravichandran.
Introducing the Mustang Mach-E 2025
One of the year’s most anticipated releases, the fully electric Mustang Mach-E, is set to debut in the Middle East next year. This sporty, five-passenger SUV embodies Mustang heritage, with a focus on high performance. The Mach-E can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds and offers a range of 350 to 450 kilometers, with two battery options available.
Ford’s Group Vice President for International Markets, Kay Hart, commented, “The Mustang Mach-E represents a historic moment for us, as it’s our first fully electric vehicle in the region. It’s undoubtedly one of the best cars Ford has ever produced.”
Joining the Mustang Mach-E, other models such as the F-150, Taurus, and Territory Hybrid underscore Ford’s commitment to offering a diverse range of electric and hybrid vehicles.
Territory Hybrid 2025: A Regional Best-Seller
Ford’s top-selling SUV in the Middle East, the Ford Territory, will also see its hybrid version arrive in the region next year. The Territory Hybrid combines SUV spaciousness, safety features, and ergonomic design with a fuel-efficient hybrid engine that merges electric power with a conventional combustion engine, maximizing fuel efficiency without sacrificing performance.
Expedition Tremor 2025: Taking Off-Road Capabilities to New Heights
For over two decades, the full-size Ford Expedition SUV has been a top choice for Middle Eastern customers seeking power, capability, comfort, and luxury. The 2025 Expedition takes this legacy further. Designed by Ford’s off-road experts, the new model boasts increased horsepower, enhanced torque, and intelligent four-wheel drive with Terrain Management and the exclusive Rock Crawl mode. With 33-inch all-terrain tires and 10.6 inches of ground clearance, it tackles everything from Gulf desert roads to the region’s most rugged trails.
Connected Services: Enhancing the Ford Ownership Experience
Ford will also accelerate the rollout of connected services in 2025, starting with the launch of the FordPass app in the UAE, followed by Saudi Arabia. Kay Hart noted, “The new app will create an unprecedented level of connection between the driver and their vehicle, making the driving experience more enjoyable. Imagine needing to rush to a meeting on a hot day; with FordPass, you can start your vehicle remotely and cool the cabin even before you leave home.”
Ravichandran added, “Today’s customers expect constant connectivity and a personalized experience from the brand behind their car. They want solutions that make them feel productive, cared for, and unique. That’s why we are redesigning every aspect of the Ford ownership journey—to empower customers and simplify their lives.”
The app launch will accompany Ford’s introduction of convenient services like online booking and pick-up and delivery options in select markets, along with a quick service program to get customers back on the road with minimal interruption. Additionally, Ford will open a new spare parts distribution center in the UAE in January 2025, allowing faster parts delivery to dealers and reducing wait times for Ford owners.
Hart concluded, “Our lineup and innovative services reflect Ford’s commitment to our customers, dealers, employees, and communities across the Middle East.”
