Bentley Batur with W12 Engine Enters Final Testing Phase

Bentley has officially entered the final testing phase for its exclusive convertible, the Batur, equipped with the powerful W12 engine. This milestone marks a significant advancement in luxury car development, with the vehicle undergoing extensive tests across Europe.

The Batur convertible is among 16 prototype cars fitted with the W12 engine, which was phased out in July. The development program for the car includes 120 distinct tests, covering all aspects of performance and design.

The testing series begins with a journey spanning 3,000 kilometers, traveling through five countries from Germany to Spain, allowing the car to be tested on highways and mountainous terrain. Additionally, it will undergo high-speed tests in the Idiada region of Spain, providing an opportunity to assess its performance under varied conditions.

One of the standout features of the Batur is its W12 twin-turbo engine, boasting a 6-liter capacity and delivering 750 horsepower. This represents the most powerful version of the engine, making the Batur the last model from Bentley to utilize this powertrain.
