The Amethyst Droptail is one of four unique Droptails from the House of Rolls-Royce, and was inspired by the amethyst stone, which symbolizes the month of the birth of the client’s son and embodies purity and serenity. This car is the ultimate expression of applied art and evokes the customer’s love of artistry and subtle touches. This distinguished person has expanded the scope of his family business to transform it from a small gemstone boutique into a multinational and multi-activity company. Flower in the desert The client involved in the design of the Rolls-Royce Amethyst Droptail expressed his desire to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of his birthplace. The brilliant designers at CoachBuild responded to his desire, drawing inspiration to create the car’s body color from the wild Jamfrena flower, which grows in the desert near one of the client’s homes.

The two-tone exterior paint embodies the different stages of a flower’s bloom. The car’s bodywork is finished in a soft purple Globe Amaranth color, interspersed with a subtle silver interior with a breathtaking iridescent finish. This color contrasts nicely with the dark Amethyst purple paint used on the upper part of the car’s body. In addition, the inside of the car’s 22-inch wheels reveal a soft violet paint when exposed to sunlight, contrasting softly and elegantly with the polished, light-reflecting aluminum surface that the customer likened to the colorful lining of his favorite jacket. The car’s exterior is completed with fine, intricate carbon fiber that was used to construct the lower parts of the car.

The Rolls-Royce Amethyst Droptail took two years to develop, during which the House’s craftsmen created an identical chevron pattern along two axes, adding a striking geometric touch to the car’s exterior surfaces. The carbon fiber itself has also been painted with a thin layer of Amethyst Purple paint that mimics the color of the body in the light. This complex technical detail can only be seen when examining the car closely, which reflects the customer’s love for subtle, soft, and unfussy touches. Beauty and depth in the smallest details The Pantheon grille demonstrates the worth of Rolls-Royce craftsmen who have earned the customer’s trust in their execution skills. It features hand-polished and polished twisted bars with a fine line separating these two finishes, a technique that has never been attempted on this scale. The concept was suggested by the client’s son, a luxury watch collector who was inspired by the hands of one of his valuable watches. This modern car, which reflects craftsmanship, is equipped with a front lower air intake designed and digitally printed from lightweight materials, comprising 202 hand-polished stainless steel alloys, each of which is hand-painted to the highest degree of precision in Globe Amaranth.
