INEOS Automotive Restarts Production

Grenadier and Quartermaster manufacturing restarts in January 2025 following supply chain resolution.

London, 20 November 2024: INEOS Automotive is set to resume production of its Grenadier and Quartermaster models in early January 2025, after successfully addressing a critical component shortage that had paused operations since September 2024.

The company’s Hambach facility is fully prepared to restart manufacturing, with all partners ready to support the resumed operations.

Lynn Calder, CEO of INEOS Automotive, expressed her satisfaction:
“It’s great news that a solution has been found so quickly. Automotive supply chains are highly complex, and while we were determined not to compromise on quality, we are confident this resolution achieves the best possible outcome.”

Calder highlighted the company’s momentum:
“By mid-2024, we had already surpassed last year’s Grenadier sales, with over 20,000 units expected on the road by year-end. With strong growth in new markets like China and Mexico, coupled with our ongoing US expansion, I believe 2025 will be a record year for us.”

She also thanked customers for their patience during the disruption:
“We’re thrilled to be back on track and can’t wait to hand over the keys to their Grenadiers as soon as possible.”

INEOS Automotive’s advanced Hambach plant will produce the Grenadier station wagon, Quartermaster double-cab pick-up, and chassis models for delivery across five continents, cementing its position in key global markets.

Key Highlights:

  • Global Sales Reach: INEOS Automotive now operates in 50 countries, including recent expansions to China and Mexico.
  • Customer Milestone: Over 20,000 Grenadiers on the road by the end of 2024.
  • Product Line: Hambach facility manufactures station wagons, pick-ups, and chassis models.

The resumption of production marks a pivotal moment for INEOS Automotive as it gears up for what promises to be a transformative year in 2025.
