Nissan Z NISMO redefines the sports car experience
The iconic sports car adds NISMO capabilities to enhance its performance on the race track Nissan Z NISMO returns with 420 horsepower and impressive improvements to sporty performance maneuvers NISMO’s elegant additions to the car’s exterior enhance its capabilities and balance its aerodynamics Stronger, more efficient performance on the racetrack thanks to improved NISMO brakes, stronger suspension systems and chassis rigidity
Dubai, United Arab Emirates (August 3, 2023) – The 2024 Nissan Z has enhanced its performance with its improved version, Z NISMO, which offers a professional sports driving experience with equipment intended for racing tracks and drivers who love superior sports performance.
The Z NISMO version offers higher driving levels for those looking for more enthusiasm and dynamic performance while driving. The new improvements aim to enhance the performance of the Nissan Z by focusing on the smallest details in a way that meets the aspirations of all drivers of all abilities.
The Z NISMO version enhances the sporting performance of the famous sports car by adding more horsepower and torque, improving the suspension system and modifying the brakes from NISMO with additions designed to improve the aerodynamics of the exterior, and wider wheels with tires designed for professional sports performance. Interior improvements added to the Z Nismo version include an anodized red engine start button and drive mode button, manually adjusted “Recaro” seats, and a leather and Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel with a red mark in the middle of the upper half of the steering wheel.
The most prominent exterior design features of the Z NISMO version The Z NISMO Edition’s exterior modifications are specifically designed to improve its aerodynamic performance on the race track. Based on these modifications, the Z Nismo was able to improve its performance and grip thanks to the force generated by the rear wing on the wheels to stabilize the car. The front of the Z Nismo is distinguished by its prominent front, with the addition of a “Grand-Nose” element that extends further forward than other models and reminds us of a similar design that distinguished the legendary Nissan Fairlady 240ZG.
The new redesigned front of the car features honeycomb grille openings and has the thinnest separations ever compared to any other Nissan car. This grille balances the need to reduce the force of air opposing the car while allowing greater amounts of air to enter the engine compartment. The two cavities at the corners of the front bumper create air vortexes above the front wheels, which increases performance and aerodynamics, in addition to a prominent red edge extending below the front wing.
The rear spoiler extends to the edges of the rear fenders and is characterized by its three-piece design. The corners of the rear bumper have been reshaped, inspired by the GT-R Nismo version, to help separate air and reduce the effect of air force on the car. As in the front, a prominent red edge has been added that extends along the rear bumper and passes smoothly above the exhaust outlets. The Z NISMO’s redesigned side sills also help reduce aerodynamics both horizontally and vertically.
On the sides of the car, the Z Nismo is distinguished from other models by a dark metallic gray metal trim that slides from the front of the roof down along the window line, brilliantly embodying the ancient Japanese katana sword blade that Nissan takes as a basic element in its designs. In addition, the Z NISMO roof features black paint. On the road, the car rides on 19-inch RAYS® gloss black wheels.
The Z NISMO body is available in five colours: Diamond Black Pearl, Sparkling Silver, Fire Red Tri-Coat, Sparkling Ice White Tri-Coat and NISMO-exclusive Ghost Gray. Interior cabin upgrades Nissan’s designers carefully optimized the Z NISMO’s cabin, elevating its appearance without being overly fussy or visually fussy.
The first thing the eye falls on is the engine start/stop button and the drive mode selection button, with their anodized red colours.
The TFT digital display graphics also feature a bold red line around the rev counter and the NISMO logo that appears against a flashing red background that appears at startup.
As for the Recaro sports seats, they are designed to help the driver and passenger stay in place. They are distinguished by their elegant design, which combines leather and Alcantara, with a large red piece in the middle extending to the headrest, where the NISMO logo appears in the middle. The steering wheel features a leather and Alcantara trim with a red mark in the middle of the upper half of the steering wheel, giving it a sporty look inspired by the world of car racing. Subtle improvements to the twin turbocharger NISMO takes the Z’s twin-turbocharged engine to 420 hp and 520 Nm of torque. Maximum torque starts from 2000 to 5200 rpm, ensuring drivers have a stronger performance. Engine power has been improved through a combination of an enhanced cooling system and electronic exhaust gate control, which increases supercharger power and turbine speed, in addition to an independent spark timing strategy inspired by the GT-R NISMO, as well as an improved engine oil cooling system to provide More superior performance on the racetrack. Dynamic shifting with Sport+ mode The Z NISMO is exclusively equipped with a nine-speed automatic transmission optimized for even more dynamic performance, with a particular focus on increasing its adaptability to various driving conditions on the track. Compared to transmissions in other Z models, the clutch packages have been revised to better respond to rapid driver movements on the transmission. Supported by modified engine management software
